Learning Sequence

One of the Information Categories for ISPs is Prerequisites/Dependencies. These cite the literature on experiments or observations that show that some ISPs must be present before others can develop. For example, self-organization as a process requires the presence of both positive and negative feedbacks. Another example, oscillations also often require the presence of both pre-existing positive and negative feedbacks. So in order for students to learn about self-organization or oscillation in detail, they probably should understand (and so be previously be taught) feedback.

This then establishes an improved learning sequence that would be better than just covering the ISPs in alphabetical sequence. It also gives another rationale for ordering the long lists.
