Why Processes?

As original author of SPT, I have been confronted and resisted many times for insisting that we focus on the process or dynamic aspect of similar forms. This is a bit different from the Founders of GST and also from many of the reductionist oriented, science workers on many of the candidate isomorphies. Take Hierarchies or Fractals for example. Many clearly recognize and cite the form of hierarchies (from natural astronomical to human societies) or the repeating forms in fractals. But the essence of both is HOW THEY CAME TO BE. Their ontology. This is most often neglected because it is the hardest to see.

RATIONALE FOR NEED FOR PROCESS-ORIENTATION:

  1. Humans see structure first and most easily. We are time-dependent conscious entities.

WHAT DO I MEAN BY PROCESS:

  1. Recognition of the primacy of change and dynamics is essential
  2. Steps
